th saw the August NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contract open at $8.483, eighteen cents above Friday’s closing price of $8.299. Tallying the intraday low of $8.365 at 9:45AM, the contract continued last week’s rally as strong demand and production concerns provided support. Crossing midday at $8.615 and marking the intraday high of $8.741 ahead of 2:30PM, August closed higher on Monday at $8.727.
As of 7:20AM EST this morning in Globex, WTI Crude was up $1.56; Natural Gas was up 25 cents; Heating Oil was up five cents; and Gasoline was up five cents.
