On Tuesday, October 30
th – the December NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contracts began trading as the prompt month. Opening at $3.246, five cents above Monday’s closing price of $3.198, prices initially launched to a ten-day intraday high of $3.281 before returning to trade near Monday’s range. The contract proceeded to fluctuate within two cents of the $3.180 level from 10:30AM through the balance of the day, marking the intraday low of $3.166 at 1:10PM. December closed lower on Tuesday at $3.187.
This morning in Globex, WTI Crude was up 14 cents; Natural Gas was up four cents; Heating Oil was up two cents; and, Gasoline was down slightly.
