th saw the front-month NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contract open at $2.571, a penny above Thursday’s closing price of $2.737. Losing ground over the long holiday weekend as forecasts for frigid temperatures failed to materialize, prices rose to an intraday high of $2.594 at 9:40AM. Trending lower throughout the day until tagging an intraday low of $2.523 at 2:20PM, February closed lower on Tuesday at $2.546.
As of 9:50AM EST this morning in Globex, WTI Crude was up 56 cents; Natural Gas was down seven cents; Heating Oil was up one cent; and Gasoline was up two cents.
