Monday, January 24th – saw the front-month NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contract open at $3.932, nearly seven cents below Friday’s closing price of $3.999. Falling to an intraday low of $3.929 within minutes of the open, prices then trended higher heading into midday. Reaching an intraday high of $4.068 ahead of 2:30PM, February closed higher on Monday at $4.027.
As of 6:30AM EST this morning in Globex, WTI Crude was up 67 cents; Natural Gas was down eight cents; Heating Oil was up two cents; and Gasoline was up three cents.
