Friday, November 26th saw the front-month NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contract open at $5.337, twenty-seven cents above Wednesday’s closing price of $5.068. Following a volatile day of trading, the December contract settled higher at $5.447. The more actively traded January contract opened at $5.221, fell to an intraday low of $5.039 at 10:30AM, and then posted a steady ascent spanning into the afternoon. Reaching an intraday high of $5.400 at 1:40PM, January closed higher on Friday at $5.447.
 
As of 9:00AM EST this morning in Globex, WTI Crude was up $4.54 cents; Natural Gas was down 54 cents; Heating Oil was up 13 cents; and Gasoline was up 13 cents.
