th saw the front-month NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contract open at of $4.095, fifteen cents above Friday’s closing price of $3.941. Marking the intraday low of $4.062 within minutes of the open, prices moved steadily higher upon renewed forecasts for frigid temperatures. Crossing midday near $4.151, the contract rose to an intraday high of $4.229 at 2:00PM. March closed higher on Monday at $4.195.
As of 6:10AM EST this morning in Globex, WTI Crude was down $2.77; Natural Gas was up 17 cents; Heating Oil was down nine cents; and Gasoline was down eight cents.
