March NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contract Closed at $2.073 on Tuesday, February 21st

Tuesday, February 21st saw the front-month NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contract open at $2.187, eleven cents below Friday’s closing price of $2.275. Recording the intraday high of $2.188 within minutes of the open, compellingly bearish conditions and forecasts have directed prices lower once again. Falling to the intraday low of $2.057 at 1:30PM, the lowest intraday mark since September 2020, traders are still holding onto hope for a late-month arctic chill. March closed lower on Tuesday at $2.073.

As of 8:10AM EST this morning in Globex, WTI Crude was down 55 cents; Natural Gas was down four cents; Heating Oil was up one cent; and Gasoline was down slightly.
