th saw the front-month NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contract open at $2.642, nearly even to Thursday’s closing price of $2.643. Stepping down to the intraday low of $2.638 shortly after 9:00AM, prices the rose to the $2.65 level and persisted through 11:30AM when another round of buying directed the contract to $2.665. Seesawing along this mark for the duration of the afternoon, May closed higher for the day at $2.664, and finished nearly even for the week.
As of 8:34AM EST this morning in Globex, WTI Crude was up 30 cents; Natural Gas was up two cents; Heating Oil was up one cent; and Gasoline was up one cent.
