th saw the May NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contract open at $7.378, forty-four cents below Monday’s closing price of $7.820. Prices would quickly rise to the intraday high of $7.517 at 8:50AM. Upon reaching the intraday high, prices began their descent towards the intraday low of $6.954, bottoming out at 11:20AM. Prices would rise very steadily throughout the afternoon, closing out the trading day at $7.176.
As of 10:30AM EST this morning in Globex, WTI Crude was down 31 cents; Natural Gas was down 23 cents; Heating Oil was up 5 cents; and Gasoline was down 2 cents.
