th saw the front-month NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contract open at $2.304, one cent below Thursday’s closing price of $2.318. Dipping to the intraday low of $2.289 at 9:30AM, prices then rallied higher to surpass $2.335 at 10:10AM. Supported by cooler shifting forecasts for the end of the month, the contract peaked at an intraday high of $2.349 at 11:20AM. Arcing gradually lower as the afternoon drew on, November closed slightly higher on Friday at $2.320, up nearly 5% on the week.
As of 8:35AM EST this morning in Globex, WTI Crude was down 36 cents; Natural Gas was down three cents; Heating Oil was down one cent; and Gasoline was down one cent.
