Tuesday, September 7th saw the front-month NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contract open at $4.647, nearly seven cents below Friday’s closing price of $4.712. Reaching an intraday high of $4.687 by 9:10AM, the contract then pulled back to arc lower through the morning. Given the previous week’s Hurricane Ida induced rally, dealing with shut-ins and disruptions to production, yesterday’s pullback wasn’t too surprising.  Tallying an intraday low of $4.561 at 2:20PM, October closed lower on Tuesday at $4.568.

As of 6:10AM EST this morning in Globex, WTI Crude was up 79 cents; Natural Gas was up seven cents; Heating Oil was up one cent; and Gasoline was up two cents.
