Portsmouth, N.H. – Sprague Operating Resources LLC (“Sprague”) is excited to announce its participation in the U.S. Army’s Partnership for Youth Success (PaYS) program.

The partnership between Sprague and the U.S. Army will guarantee job interviews for any current or former U.S. Army Soldier, Army Reserve member or ROTC cadet interested in working for the company. The program provides Soldiers with an opportunity to serve their country while they prepare for their transition into civilian life and employment after the Army.

“U.S. Army Soldiers are strong, resilient and talented and we're excited to see Sprague embrace hiring veterans," says Battalion Commander MAJ Moriarity. "We believe that those who serve make a difference, not only during their service but afterwards in their communities."

"Army programs develop experienced, trained individuals while providing opportunities to strengthen skills such as leadership, discipline and the ability to work as a team," says MAJ Moriarity. "Sprague recognizes this and is joining the close to 1,000 PaYS partners who are providing this opportunity to those who have served their country."

Sprague employs over 640 people in over 20 locations throughout the Northeast. As a company that has continued to evolve with the energy industry for the last 150 years, Sprague is always looking for hardworking employees to join their team as they remain at the forefront of the industry. “We are extremely excited to enter into the PaYS program,” says CEO Dave Glendon. “The U.S. Army teaches teamwork, communication, and dedication, all while fostering leadership capabilities. These are the exact attributes we look for in our job candidates, and they are very much part of our core values here at Sprague.”

“In the past,” continues Glendon, “we have seen veterans thrive at Sprague and we are very excited about this partnership to further support those who have served our country.”
