In a volatile day of trading, winter temperatures forecasted to cover much of the country and strong LNG demand helped to keep the contract elevated. Recording the intraday low of $3.634 at 10:45AM, prices surged through midday to achieve the intraday high of $3.801 at 12:30PM. Pulling back to opening price territory soon thereafter, February closed higher on Thursday at $3.660.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The EIA Natural Gas Storage Report is due out Friday at 10:30AM. The report is expected to show a 127 BCF withdrawal from storage for the week ended December 27.
