The intraday high peaked at $2.851 by 9:10 AM. The contract then traded within a three-cent band before sinking to the $2.78 mark at 12:40PM. Balancing expectations of a record draw from storage for last week with a forecast of mild temperatures, February closed higher on Monday at $2.835.<\/p>\n<p>This morning in Globex, WTI Crude was up 22 cents; Natural Gas was up five cents; Heating Oil was up slightly; and, Gasoline was up one cent.<\/p>\n<p>New York and New England basis values were both lower for the current winter months and higher for the next summer season.
