th saw the front-month NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contract open at $2.630, thirty-eight cents below Friday’s closing price of $3.009. Moving cautiously higher to achieve an intraday high of $2.652 at 9:30AM, the contract then continued its downward momentum following a mild shift in the frigid temperatures expected next week. Crossing midday at $2.580, prices fell to the intraday low of $2.537 at 1:15PM. April closed lower on Monday at $2.572.
As of 6:50AM EST this morning in Globex, WTI Crude was down 56 cents; Natural Gas was down one cent; Heating Oil was down three cents; and Gasoline was down two cents.
