nd saw the front-month NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contract open at $2.487, ten cents below Friday’s closing price of $2.585. Tallying the intraday high of $2.488 within minutes of the opening, as forecasts for early June remain unsupportive, prices dwindled lower through the morning. Marking the intraday low of $2.367 at 11:15AM, the contract traded sideways along the $2.395 mark for the balance of the day. June closed lower on Monday at $2.400; down 7% on the day, but still up 1% vs. last Monday.
As of 7:10AM EST this morning in Globex, WTI Crude was up 48 cents; Natural Gas was down three cents; Heating Oil was up one cent; and Gasoline was up four cents.
