rd saw the front-month NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contracts open at $2.690, slightly above Monday’s closing price of $2.683. After losing five cents on Monday, which can be attributed a realigning of market fundamentals, prices rose through the day’s opening our to reach the intraday high of $2.707 at 9:50AM. Reaching the intraday low of $2.684 forty minutes later, the contract fluctuated within this two-cent range for the balance of the day. Finding value in stubborn winter temperatures that have yet to vacate, May close higher on Tuesday at $2.697.
This morning in Globex, WTI Crude was down 95 cents; Natural Gas was down slightly; Heating Oil was down three cents; and, Gasoline was down two cents.
