th saw the front-month NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contract open at $1.666, a penny above Thursday’s closing price of $1.654. Extending to an intraday high of $1.680 within minutes of the opening bell, prices were then directed to trade near the $1.62 level amid mild temperatures and economic slowdown. Falling to an intraday low of $1.602 ahead of midday, April closed lower on Friday at $1.604, down 14% on the week.
As of 7:35AM EST this morning in Globex, WTI Crude was down 51 cents; Natural Gas was down five cents; Heating Oil was down two cents; and Gasoline was down eight cents.
