rd saw the front-month NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contract open at $2.574, nearly two cents below Thursday’s closing price of $2.589. Marking the intraday high of $2.581 as markets opened, prices slipped in the following hour to reach the intraday low of $2.553 at 10:00AM. Straddling the $2.570 level over the duration of Friday’s session as technical trading was the driving force, June closed lower on the day at $2.567.
As of 8:55 EST this morning in Globex, WTI Crude was down 61 cents; Natural Gas was down three cents; Heating Oil was down one cent; and Gasoline was down two cents.
