Monday, February 7th saw the front-month NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contract open at of $4.356, twenty-two cents below Friday’s closing price of $4.572. Marking the intraday high of $4.371 soon after the opening bell, the March contract fell back to Earth on Monday as forecasts have turned mild for key demand areas of the country. Falling to an intraday low of $4.120 by 12:30PM, March closed lower on Monday at $4.232.

As of 6:20AM EST this morning in Globex, WTI Crude was down $1.79; Natural Gas was down five cents; Heating Oil was down seven cents; and Gasoline was down five cents.
