Monday, October 11th saw the front-month NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contract open at $5.439 nearly thirteen cents below Friday’s closing price of $5.565. Falling to an intraday low of $5.308 early on, prices rose to an intraday high of $5.488 nearly ninety minutes later. Continuing to fluctuate within a nine-cent range of $5.400 for the balance of the day, November closed on a downbeat to finish lower on Monday at $5.345.
As of 5:55AM EST this morning in Globex, WTI Crude was up 16 cents; Natural Gas was up one cent; Heating Oil was unchanged; and Gasoline was up slightly.
