Tuesday, August 17th saw the front-month NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contract open at $3.892, five cents below Monday’s closing price of $3.946. The price steadily fell throughout the day until hitting an intraday low of 3.803 at 2:00pm. Besides a small spike at 2:30, trading was relatively flat for the remainder of the day. September closed lower on Tuesday at $3.837.
As of 10:40AM EST this morning in Globex, WTI Crude was up 8 cents; Natural Gas was down three cents; Heating Oil was down slightly; and Gasoline down one cent.
