th saw the front-month NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contracts open at $2.904, a penny below Friday’s closing price of $2.917. Notching the intraday high of $2.915 within minutes of the opening bell, prices quickly diminished as above average temperatures covering the eastern portion of the country proved insufficient to continue the contract’s three-week rally. Seesawing along the $2.89 level into the afternoon, September fell to the intraday low $2.874 ahead of 2:30PM to close lower on Monday at $2.876.
This morning in Globex, WTI Crude was up 13 cents; Natural Gas was down one cent; Heating Oil was up one cent; and, Gasoline was down one cent.
