Tuesday, November 10th saw the front-month NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contract open at $2.895, four cents above Monday’s closing price $2.859. Slipping to an intraday low of $2.855 soon after the opening bell, prices then surged higher as moderately cooler temperatures have returned to the forecast. Ascending to reach $2.970 by 10:00AM, the contract rose to an intraday high of $3.012 just after midday. Settling in near $2.955 for the remainder of the session, December closed higher on Tuesday at $2.949.
As of 7:30AM EST this morning in Globex, WTI Crude was up $1.03; Natural Gas was down one cent; Heating Oil was up three cents; and Gasoline was up two cents.
