January NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contracts Closed at $4.612 on Friday, November 30th

Friday, November 30th saw the front-month NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contracts open at $4.567, eight cents below Thursday’s closing price of $4.646.  Starting the session on a downbeat, prices trailed gradually lower through the morning until marking the intraday low of $4.473 shortly after midday.  Aiming to finish higher on the day, the contract looked to supportive weather forecasts as January rose to the intraday high of $4.637 before closing at $4.612 on Friday.

This morning in Globex, WTI Crude was up $2.35; Natural Gas was down 32 cents; Heating Oil was up five cents; and Gasoline was up six cents.
