Monday, February 11th saw the front-month NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contracts open at $2.727, fourteen cents above Friday’s closing price of $2.583. Extending to the intraday high of $2.744 as markets opened, prices were quick to return to last week’s bearish trend and fell below $2.660 before 10:00AM. Marking the intraday low of $2.638 at 2:20PM, March closed higher on Monday at $2.642.
