Tuesday, October 6th saw the front-month NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contract open at $2.635, two cents above Monday’s closing price of $2.615. Tallying an intraday high of $2.650 within minutes of the opening bell, the contract fought to maintain the $2.600 level through 11:30AM. Trailing lower into the afternoon, as weather forecasts remain bearish, prices fell to an intraday low of $2.514 ahead of 2:30PM. November closed lower on Tuesday at $2.520
As of 8:40AM EST this morning in Globex, WTI Crude was down 61 cents; Natural Gas was up eight cents; Heating Oil was down two cents; and Gasoline was down three cents.
