Friday, October 12th saw the front-month NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contracts open at $3.232, a penny above Thursday’s closing price of $3.222. Extending to the intraday high of $3.237 as markets opened, sellers soon entered the market and drove the contract to the intraday low of $3.138 by 10:10AM. Despite bullish temperatures entering the northeast late next week, a midday ascent to the $3.20 mark ultimately subsided as November closed lower on Friday at $3.161.
This morning in Globex, WTI Crude was up 48 cents; Natural Gas was up 10 cents; Heating Oil was up one cent; and, Gasoline was up one cent.
