November NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contracts Closed at $3.212 on

Tuesday, October 23rd saw the front-month NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contracts open at $3.158, two cents above Monday’s closing price of $3.138.  Aiming to overcome the previous session’s losses out of the gate, the contract mounted a steady ascent from the intraday low as markets opened.  Soaring to the intraday high of $3.240 at 11:00AM, prices retreated to trade within a two-cent range of $3.210 for the remainder of the day, as mild forecasts lay in wait once the below average temperatures move out at the end of the month.  November closed higher on Monday at $3.212.

This morning in Globex, WTI Crude was up 53 cents; Natural Gas was up three cents; Heating Oil was up one cent; and, Gasoline was up one cent.
