Monday, September 10th saw the front-month NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contracts open at $2.770, slightly below Friday’s closing price of $2.776. Sinking to the intraday low of $2.752 by 9:20AM, recently diminished prices then triggered a bout of buying as prices ascended in the subsequent two hours to reach the intraday high of $2.814. Straddling $2.805 through the balance of the day, October closed higher on Monday at $2.804.
This morning in Globex, WTI Crude was up 17 cents; Natural Gas was unchanged; Heating Oil was up one cent; and, Gasoline was up two cents.
