Monday, August 2nd saw the front-month NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contract open at $3.970, six cents above Friday’s closing price of $3.914. Ascending to an intraday high of $4.042 by 10:10AM, the contract then continued Friday’s downward trajectory to cross midday near $3.972. Marking an intraday low of $3.928 ahead of closing, September finished higher on Monday at $3.935.
As of 6:30AM EST this morning in Globex, WTI Crude was up 37 cents; Natural Gas was up four cents; Heating Oil was up two cents; and Gasoline was up two cents.
