Sprague is proud to support Lifting Up Westchester’s Brighter Futures Summer Camp!
Lifting Up Westchester provides services to those struggling with challenges related to poverty, homelessness, hunger, health and education. Their mission is to restore hope to the Westchester community by providing them with food, shelter and support. As one of the largest social services organizations in Westchester County, they serve thousands of men, women and children every year.
“For four weeks in July our Day Camp gives homeless and disadvantaged children a stimulating and recreational environment, where they can escape from their problems and the stigma of poverty, and just be kids.”

Sprague recently donated $2,500 toward the Brighter Futures Summer Day Camp as part of our corporate charitable giving program, and employees collected another $800 to donate food gift cards to the organization and supply campers with goggles. Started in 1976, the camp offers a 4-week, full-day summer program to 90 homeless and economically challenged youth. Kids learn to build confidence, self-esteem and social skills throughout the four weeks with guidance and encouragement from a supportive group of adults. Sprague is honored to be a part of this successful and vital program that helps youth build confidence and gives them the opportunity to flourish.
Sprague’s corporate charitable program donates over $100,000 to organizations across our footprint each year. Learn more about it or apply here, and be sure to spread the word to non-profits in your area!
