Monday, November 23rd saw the front-month NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contract open at $2.693, four cents above Friday’s closing price $2.650. Touching down to an intraday low of $2.649 by 9:10AM, prices traded higher throughout the day as forecasts have turned supportive and many analysts believe the contract is oversold. Ascending to an intraday low of $2.722 at 12:30PM, the December contract closed higher on Monday at $2.711.
As of 8:35AM EST this morning in Globex, WTI Crude was up 53 cents; Natural Gas was up five cents; Heating Oil was up three cents; and Gasoline was up three cents.
