Friday, November 8th saw the front-month NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contract open at $2.805, three cents above Thursday’s closing price of $2.772. Shaking off the previous session’s weather-induced sell off to open higher on the day, prices spent the morning trending lower to reach an intraday low of $2.761 at 11:30AM. Managing an unsteady recovery into the afternoon, December closed lower on Friday at $2.789, up nearly $0.08 on the week.
As of 8:40AM EST this morning in Globex, WTI Crude was down 52 cents; Natural Gas was down 14 cents; Heating Oil was down one cent; and Gasoline was down one cent.
