Tuesday, December 4th saw the front-month NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contracts open at $4.561, roughly twenty-two cents above Monday’s closing price of $4.339. Bounding upward overnight in response to uncertainty surrounding December’s forecast, the contract rose to the intraday high of $4.561 as markets opened. Prices hovered near $4.530 until moving lower by midday. Trending lower for the majority of the afternoon, January closed higher on Tuesday at $4.457.
This morning in Globex, WTI Crude was unchanged; Natural Gas was up ten cents; Heating Oil was down slightly; and Gasoline was unchanged.
