Thursday, February 20th saw the front-month NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contract open at $1.944, just below Tuesday’s closing price of $1.955. Following the open, prices jumped an intraday high of $2.025 at 11:30AM. After hitting its peak, prices fell steeply and steadily to an intraday low of $1.907 at 3:00PM. Thursday’s price finished at $1.920, 3 cents below the previous day’s closing price.
As of 8:45AM EST this morning in Globex, WTI Crude was down 91 cents; Natural Gas was down 4 cents; Heating Oil was down 3 cents; and Gasoline was down 3 cents.
