The company operates a state-of-the-art petroleum terminal facility with fifteen oil storage tanks. It represents 3.2 million barrels storage capacity including about 130,000 metric tons (nearly 0.8 million barrels) which are compatible for bituminous products storage and some distillate grades as well. The company stores, modifies and distributes the following products by land, rail and sea: heavy fuel oil (HFO), vacuum gas oil (VGO), marine fuels, crude oil and liquid asphalt. Additionally, Kildair operates a fully equipped laboratory to support its customized blending operations.

Our terminal is strategically located on the South Shore of the St-Lawrence River about 50 nautical kilometers downstream from Montreal. It comprises a private dock accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Following the dock upgrade of 2014, it can accommodate ships of up to 260 meters in length, and a maximum of 85,000 meters of inbound total displacement. The dock has a minimum draft of 10,4 meters at chart datum. A summary version of the "Captain's Guide” containing maps, dock facilities, applicable Ports Canada regulation, and relevant tables is available upon request.

The terminal is also located along the Canadian National railroad main line providing daily service to our facility. Kildair has an extensive railcar service capacity with more than 80 positions able to accommodate manifest and unit trains. In 2014, Kildair built a brand new crude-by-rail installation with 60 new positions. We have proven to be the most efficient terminal in accommodating our partners in discharging and loading railcars with minimum turnaround and outstanding capacity to heat railcars and discharge viscous materials.

The terminal is also equipped 12 loading racks, including two with scales, which offer quick and simultaneous loading into tank trucks, using certified measuring devices.
