Tuesday, March 20th saw the front-month NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contracts open at $2.668, nearly two cents above Monday’s closing price of $2.651. Finding value in short-term below average temperatures, and perhaps aided by the upcoming nor’easter, prices rose steadily through the morning. Peaking at the intraday high of $2.695 shortly after midday, selling took hold for the balance of the day as April closed higher on Tuesday at $2.675.
This morning in Globex, WTI Crude was up 54 cents; Natural Gas was up two cents; Heating Oil was up two cents; and, Gasoline was up two cents.
