Tuesday, March 5th saw the front-month NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contract open at $2.869, roughly a penny above Monday’s closing price of $2.857. Trending lower initially, prices fell to the intraday low of $2.841 by 10:30AM. Finding support from the current below-average forecasts, the contract reversed direction to scale higher over the balance of the session. Tallying an intraday high of $2.886 at 2:20PM, April closed higher on Tuesday at $2.884.
This morning in Globex, WTI Crude was down 54 cents; Natural Gas was down two cents; Heating Oil was down slightly; and Gasoline was up slightly.
