Tuesday, December 17th saw the front-month NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contract open at $2.327, roughly a penny below Monday’s closing price of $2.341. Trading along either side of $2.325 through 11:30AM, tallying an intraday high of $2.339 at 10:40AM, prices trended lower ahead of midday. Recording an intraday low of $2.293 at 12:10PM, as weather forecasts have turned bearish for much of the country, January closed lower on Tuesday at $2.319.
As of 9:10AM EST this morning in Globex, WTI Crude was down 32 cents; Natural Gas was down three cents; Heating Oil was down one cent; and Gasoline was down two cents.
