Tuesday, December 1st saw the front-month NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contract open at $2.921, four cents above Monday’s closing price of $2.882. Recording the intraday high of $2.922 within minutes of the opening bell, the contract marked the intraday low of $2.833 nearly ninety minutes later. Fluctuating along $2.860 for the balance of the session, the January contract closed nearly flat on Tuesday at $2.880.
As of 6:50AM EST this morning in Globex, WTI Crude was down 32 cents; Natural Gas was up one cent; Heating Oil was down slightly; and Gasoline was down one cent.
