Monday, June 4th saw the front-month NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contracts open at $2.968, slightly above Friday’s closing price of $2.962. Slipping lower as markets opened in response to comfortable temperatures covering much of the northeast, prices were trading near $2.945 by midday. Posting a choppy descent for the balance of the day, July closed lower on Monday at $2.930.
This morning in Globex, WTI Crude was down 33 cents; Natural Gas was down one cent; Heating Oil was down three cents; and, Gasoline was down three cents.
