Tuesday, February 20th saw the front-month NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contracts open at $2.645, nine cents above Friday’s closing price of $2.558. Seeming to reaching consensus that market conditions were oversold, the contract extended higher in the early morning. Seesawing along $2.635 through midday, and marking the intraday high of $2.649 at 10:40AM, prices proceeded to slip gradually lower into the afternoon. March closed higher on Tuesday at $2.616.
This morning in Globex, WTI Crude was down 35 cents; Natural Gas was up three cents; Heating Oil was unchanged; and, Gasoline was down one cent.
