Tuesday, April 16th saw the front-month NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contracts open at $2.590, even to Monday’s closing price. With continued bearish sentiment setting in as temperatures rise and expectations for large injections to storage become the norm, prices descended gradually through the morning. Finding support near $2.575, the contract traded sideways from 11:30AM onward to close lower on Tuesday at $2.572.
As of 7:15AM EST this morning in Globex, WTI Crude was up 35 cents; Natural Gas was up one cent; Heating Oil was up one cent; and Gasoline was up one cent.
