Friday, April 6th saw the front-month NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contracts open at $2.708, three cents above Thursday’s closing price of $2.675. Tallying the respective intraday high and low of $2.712 and $2.688 within the session’s opening minutes, prices continued to receive support from below-average temperatures and expectations for at least one more storage withdrawal on the season. Seesawing along the $2.70 mark for the balance of the day, May closed higher on Friday at $2.701.
This morning in Globex, WTI Crude was up 62 cents; Natural Gas was down three cents; Heating Oil was up two cents; and, Gasoline was up one cent.
