Tuesday, October 13th saw the front-month NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contract open at $2.798, nearly eight cents below Monday’s closing price of $2.881. Falling to an intraday low of $2.779 soon after the opening bell, the contract found support, despite warming forecasts, and rose to the $2.87 level by 10:20AM. Trading along either side of $2.840 through midday, prices rose to an intraday high of $2.884 at 2:10PM. The November contract closed lower on Tuesday at $2.855.
As of 8:30AM EST this morning in Globex, WTI Crude was unchanged; Natural Gas was down 21 cents; Heating Oil was down one cent; and Gasoline was down one cent.
