Monday, November 26th saw the front-month NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contracts open at $4.064, twenty-four cents below Friday’s closing price of $4.308. Clawing its way up from the intraday low of $4.054 near 9:00AM, traders were enticed by recently discounted prices as forecasts continue to provide support. The contract fluctuated along the $4.15 mark throughout the morning before jumping to the intraday high of $4.282 ahead of 1:00PM. December closed lower on Monday at $4.248. With December’s settlement set for this Wednesday, the January contract plotted a similar course to close nearly six cents lower on Monday at $4.299.
This morning in Globex, WTI Crude was unchanged; Natural Gas was down six cents; Heating Oil was unchanged; and Gasoline was down one cent.
