Tuesday, June 8th saw the front-month NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contract open at $3.161, nine cents above Monday’s closing price of $3.070. Posting gains early on to reach an intraday high of $3.198 at 9:40AM, updated weather models have introduced additional cooling days into the forecast. Crossing midday near $3.183, prices trended lower into the afternoon and tallied an intraday low of $3.119 ahead of closing. July closed higher on Tuesday at $3.128.
As of 7:55AM EST this morning in Globex, WTI Crude was up 37 cents; Natural Gas was down one cent; Heating Oil was up one cent; and Gasoline was up one cent.
