Monday, February 28th saw the April NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contract open at of $4.517, five cents above Friday’s closing price of $4.470. Ascending to an intraday high of $4.546 by 9:15AM, prices fell to an intraday low of $4.366 an hour later. Trading within a tighter band near $4.425 for the balance of the session despite uncertain weather forecasts and the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, April closed lower on Monday at $4.402.
As of 6:30AM EST this morning in Globex, WTI Crude was up $3.26; Natural Gas was up 13 cents; Heating Oil was up 12 cents; and Gasoline was up nine cents.
