Tuesday, September 11th saw the front-month NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contracts open at $2.797, a penny below Monday’s closing price of $2.804. Posting a modest decline through 10:30AM, the contract tallied an intraday low of $2.785. Launching from here as storm activity off the coast of the Carolina’s draws near and a potential threat in the Gulf is still developing, prices rose steadily through midday and tallied an intraday high of $2.836 by 1:50PM. October closed higher on Tuesday at $2.828.
This morning in Globex, WTI Crude was up 81 cents; Natural Gas was up two cents; Heating Oil was up slightly; and, Gasoline was up slightly.
